Effective leadership is reflected by evidence-based attributes, competencies, and behaviors. The Future of Nursing Report (2011) identified a gap in knowledge, recommending development creative innovative strategies to strengthen nursing curricula. These results provided an impetus charge for education reexamine revise content. This mixed methods study analyzed baccalaureate masters students’ their knowledge skills. Through reflections, undergraduate (n=60) master’s (n=52) students perceived priorities tips success leaders across the healthcare continuum. Qualitative content analysis aligned comments with American Organization Leadership (AONL) Nurse Executive Competencies (2015). Descriptive data summaries which competencies were represented.
