Abstract Polyamines (PA) are polycations with pleiotropic functions in cellular physiology and pathology. In particular, PA have been involved the regulation of cell homeostasis proliferation participating control fundamental processes like DNA transcription, RNA translation, protein hypusination, autophagy modulation ion channels. Indeed, their dysregulation has associated to inflammation, oxidative stress, neurodegeneration cancer progression. Accordingly, intracellular levels, derived from balance between uptake, biosynthesis, catabolism, need be tightly regulated. Among mechanisms that fine-tune metabolic enzymes, emerging findings highlight importance noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs). ncRNAs, microRNA, long circRNA most studied as regulators gene expression mRNA metabolism alteration frequently reported pathological conditions, such progression brain diseases. this review, we will discuss role ncRNAs genes, a particular emphasis on changes observed health disorders.

Wilson's disease (WD) is an autosomal recessive disorder with a genetic basis. The predominant non-motor symptom of WD cognitive dysfunction, although the specific regulatory mechanism remains unclear. This study employs deep sequencing investigate differences in RNA transcript profiles, both coding and non-coding, as well functional characteristics network involved impairment. function tx-J mice was evaluated using Water Maze Test (WMT). Long non-coding (lncRNA), circular (circRNA), messenger (mRNA) profiles were analyzed hippocampal tissue identify differentially expressed RNAs (DE-RNAs). Subsequently, DE-RNAs used construct protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks, DE-circRNAs lncRNAs-associated competing endogenous (ceRNA) expression coding-noncoding co-expression (CNC) networks. To elucidate their biological functions pathways, PPI ceRNA networks subjected Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis. A total 361 mRNAs (DE-mRNAs), comprising 193 up-regulated 168 down-regulated mRNAs, 2627 long (DE-lncRNAs), consisting 1270 1357 lncRNAs, 99 (DE-circRNAs), 68 31 circRNAs, observed group when compared control group. analyses revealed that DE-mRNAs enriched cellular processes, calcium signaling mRNA surveillance pathways.
