Meditation is a family of ancient and contemporary contemplative mind-body practices that can modulate psychological processes, awareness, mental states. Over the last 40 years, clinical science has manualised meditation designed various interventions (MIs), have shown therapeutic efficacy for disorders including depression, pain, addiction, anxiety. past decade, neuroimaging examined neuroscientific basis practices, effects, states, outcomes non-clinical populations. However, generalizability replicability current models are yet to be established, as they largely based on small datasets entrenched with heterogeneity along several domains (e.g., practice types, experience, disorder targeted), experimental design, methods preprocessing, analysis, task-based, resting-state, structural MRI). These limitations precluded nuanced rigorous phenotyping their potential benefits. Here, we present ENIGMA-Meditation, first worldwide collaborative consortium investigations practices. ENIGMA-Meditation will enable systematic meta- mega-analyses globally distributed using shared, standardized tools improve statistical power generalizability. Through this powerful framework, existing accounts extended generate novel insights, accounting multi-domain heterogeneity. inform mechanisms underlying action cognitive attributes, advancing field neuroscience.

Background and Aims: Increasing interest in hypnotherapy's application for a wide range of health conditions has spurred rise global research publications. This study aims to visualize development patterns current hotspots clinical hypnotherapy practice using scientometric methods, predict future directions based on the keyword trending topics analysis. Methods: Data applications mechanisms settings between 1994 2023 were gathered from Scopus, Web Science, PubMed, followed by analysis visualization VOSviewer, Bibliometrix package R , CiteSpace. Results: A total 1,549 publications examined, indicating steady annual increase with an average growth rate 8.5%, reaching high 134 2022. The United States was primary hub. Collectively, 1,464 distinct institutions involving 3,195 scholars contributed this theme. Collaboration predominantly confined same country, institution, and/or team. High-frequency keywords included "Pain", "Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)", "Anxiety". Systematic review meta-analysis have emerged as favored methods. fMRI EEG commonly used techniques exploring neuropsychological underlying hypnotherapy. "Self-Hypnosis", "Virtual Reality", "Meditation" predicted topics, that patients' self-managed hypnosis practice, virtual reality hypnotherapy, exploration variations meditation might be emerging key within field. Conclusion: use diverse issues, particularly pain, IBS, comorbid anxiety, is garnering attention. evidence-based approach widely assess quality evidence Researchers are keen innovating traditional hetero-hypnosis, shift towards more cost-effective self-hypnosis immersive Promoting reinforcing collaborative efforts across countries, institutions, teams warranted. Keywords: scientometrics, Citespace, hypnosis, irritable bowel syndrome, complementary alternative medicine
