Purpose: This study investigated whether abnormal cerebral activity observed in adolescents and adults with ADHD also occurs children during the early developmental stages of executive function. Methods:The included 52 aged 4.0-9.0years 34 healthy control children.Changes oxygenated hemoglobin (HbO) levels were measured while participants completed GO/NOGO tasks to assess brain activation connectivity. Results: Children demonstrated a stable prefrontal deficit (p FDR < 0.05).Additionally, hyperconnectivity was between motor area lobe these (uncorrected p <0.01).The logistic regression model incorporating connectivity features achieved an under ROC curve 0.86 (95% CI, [0.78, 0.95]), sensitivity 0.79 specificity 0.85. Conclusion:The findings suggest that region abnormalities are present at stages. This underscores importance targeting cortex interventions highlights role multi-network coordination ADHD-related abnormalities.Limitations include cross-sectional design relatively small sample size, which should be addressed future longitudinal studies.
