Vitamins and minerals are essential to humans as they play roles in a variety of basic metabolic pathways that support fundamental cellular functions. In particular, their involvement energy-yielding metabolism, DNA synthesis, oxygen transport, neuronal functions makes them critical for brain muscular function.
