Considering the social, emotional, medical, physical impact obesity, we need nuanced approach to communicate develop effective treatment plans maintain or encourage activity. Neuromusculoskeletal impairments, complications, pain, biomechanical differences, deconditioning act as potential barriers treatment. This article introduces ways pivot conversation from musculoskeletal pain productive, well-received about holistic weight management that also promotes activity overall wellness in youth Special attention given equipping recommendations incorporate use inclusive language, health behavior theories, tenets motivational interviewing deliver equitable regardless body habitus.

(1) Background: Physical literacy (PL) is a multidimensional concept, since it fosters lifetime engagement in physical activities and reduces obesity; however, empirical evidence lacking to support this association. This study first aimed establish PL levels stratified by normal weight children with overweight obesity. Furthermore, determined correlation between domains BMI status among South Punjab school children. (2) Methods: cross-sectional involved 1360 (Boys: 675 Girls: 685) aged 8 12, was conducted using CAPL-2. T-tests chi-square were used determine the difference categorical variables, MANOVA compare statuses. Spearman employed variables; p < 0.05 considered significant. (3) Results: Normal had significantly higher domain scores, except for knowledge domain. Most weights at achieving excelling levels, while obesity beginning progressing levels. The obese ranged from weak strong (r = 0.001 0.737), inversely correlated motivation −0.023). scores BMI, (4) Conclusions: Children tend have those or lower scores. Background/objective While Physical Literacy has been highlighted as a determinant in health recent study, there is dearth of studies examining its effect on physical health, and little the way empirical data linking to outcomes. Accordingly, further research needed clarify mechanisms by which affects health. The purpose this study was verify role medical students’ Health-related quality life well explore chain mediating Activity Subjective Well-being it. Methods This utilized cross-sectional design. Literacy, Quality Life, ratings, students at Shanxi Medical University were all measured using an online survey administered September 2023. A total 1968 valid questionnaires returned. First, descriptive statistics correlation analysis performed SPSS software. Second, PROCESS used test role. Finally, we structural equation modeling (Amos) model fit. Results There significant between variables. After mediation effects analysis, found that three indirect pathways literacy health-related life: single activity, subjective well-being, chained activity-subjective well-being. Conclusion activity well-being relationship confirmed. Abstract Combating the double burden of malnutrition (DBM) in adolescents is a critical public health challenge low-income countries like Ethiopia. However, past efforts have lacked focus and exhibited diverse governance strategies. Therefore, this study assesses effect selected double-duty interventions (DDIs) on DBM among Central The status (thinness, normal, overweight/obesity) was determined using WHO AnthroPlus software. A two-arm parallel cluster randomised controlled trial used 708 (356 for intervention group [IG] 352 control [CG]) from 13 October 2022 to 30 June 2023. intervention’s analysed through difference-in-difference (DID) analysis multivariable multinomial generalised estimating equation (GEE) model with significance set at P < 0.05. overall prevalence decreased by nearly 7% (4.7% thinness, 2.2% DID analysis. After adjusting possible confounders, GEE indicated that IG were 34% less likely higher than those CG (AOR = 0.66, 95% CI [0.46, 0.94]). Additionally, probability 59% end line compared baseline measurements 0.41, [0.03, 0.92]). Adolescents category time interaction 44% increased 0.56, [CI 0.02, 0.38]). Thus, underscores effectiveness DDIs addressing belief model. These results advocate integration DDI strategies into existing nutrition guidelines, programmes, policies. registered prospectively ClinicalTrials.gov registration number NCT05574842.

Recently, the concept of Physical Literacy (PL) has emerged as a key for promoting active behavior and improving health indicators in adolescents. Methods This is a secondary cross-sectional analysis including total sample 845 Spanish (55.3% girls) aged 12–17 years Valle de Ricote (Region Murcia) Eating Healthy Daily Life Activities (EHDLA) project. Background The holistic concept of physical literacy (PL) has gained growing attention in recent research, policy, and practice. Many important policy documents the activity educational fields (e.g., Global Action Plan on Physical Activity 2018–2030 by World Health Organization, UNESCO’s Quality Education guidelines for policymakers) have specified PL. However, a clear framework action is needed, as most initiatives across world are fragmented, lack prospective orientation, can benefit from conceptual clarification, not linked to effective translation into Therefore, we aim consensually develop Literacy (GloPL) Framework define goals principles (asking what needed) well actions ways how these be achieved) move PL forward. Materials methods We apply three-stage group Delphi technique involving three representation groups: (a) geographical representatives achieve global coverage perspectives; (b) special thematic interest reflecting prominent gaps current activities; (c) societies broad field health facilitate dissemination. process will begin with an individual pre-Delphi exercise, which experts generate initial ideas framework, followed four-eye document analysis derive themes discussion. Subsequently, meet face-to-face online rounds discuss prioritize themes. Interspersed formal voting pre-defined agreement thresholds (via descriptive statistics) inform inclusion within final framework. Conclusions A consensus goals, principles, actions, development potential provide largely accepted roadmap future activities co-production approach help disseminate GloPL work relevant application worldwide.

Abstract Background Multidisciplinary lifestyle interventions for children and adolescents with obesity often include recommendations regarding physical activity, but no structured exercise program. We hypothesized that adding high intensity interval training (HIIT) to a multidisciplinary intervention would improve BMI z-score (primary outcome) health-related quality of life (HRQOL). Methods This randomized controlled trial included 173 obesity. Participants were allocated 12-months (N=83) or 12-month accompanied by 12-week HIIT program at onset (N=90). The consisted three weekly sessions activities designed elicit intensities >85% maximal heart rate. Results Dropout rate was lower in compared control months (7.8% vs. 20.5%) 12 (26.5% vs 48.2%). Changes Body mass index (BMI) did not differ between 3 (Mean Difference (MD): 0.01, 95% confidence (CI): -0.09; 0.12, P=0.82) (MD: 0.06, CI: -0.07; 0.19, P=0.34). Across randomization (pooled data), reduced 0.11 (CI: 0.17; P<0.01) 0.20 0.26; 0.14, months. At months, experienced greater increase HRQOL, with increases of 2.73 0.01; 5.44, P=0.05) PedsQL Child total score and 3.85 0.96; 6.74, psychosocial health control. At 6.89 10.97; 2.83, control. Conclusion Adding further augment the effects on z-score, improved HRQOL after months. Implementation community-based setting feasible showed positive adherence intervention.
