This study reviews various green technological strategies integrated into vessels to mitigate environmental impact, focusing on atmospheric pollution and marine environment protection. The research is based a systematic review of academic literature published between 2019 2024, using the Scopus Web Science databases applying PRISMA criteria. findings reveal that main issues in naval sector include greenhouse gas emissions, harmful discharges, invasive species affect biodiversity. analysis framed within international regulations such as those established by IMO classification societies, where most relevant indicators identified are EEDI EEXI. However, results this emphasize that, while these fundamental, it necessary analyze further technical economic barriers affecting widespread implementation technologies develop incentive mechanisms facilitate their adoption across different vessel types sizes. Promising solutions alternative fuels, new propulsion systems, emission-reduction technologies. conclusion underlines although transitioning toward sustainability, challenges remain.

In order to realize green and low-carbon transformation, some ports have explored the path of sustainable equipment upgrading by adjusting energy structure yard cranes in recent years. However, there are multiple uncertainties investment process hydrogen-powered cranes, existing valuation methods fail effectively deal with these dynamic changes lack scientifically sound decision support tools. To address this problem, study constructs a multi-factor real options model that integrates hydrogen price, carbon technology maturity. study, geometric Brownian motion is used for price simulation, Markov chain jump diffusion term stochastic volatility learning curve method quantify evolution Aiming at long cycle ports, hybrid option strategy “American European” designed, timing scale dynamically optimized Monte Carlo simulation least squares regression. Based on empirical analysis Qingdao Port, results show optimal plan project under framework use an American-type maintain moderate flexibility early stage, European-type lock return later stage. The provides development enhances economic returns emission reduction benefits.
