However, vaccinations during pregnancy remain underutilized, often influenced by concerns about safety low perception of disease risk. Self-reported hesitancy among pregnant people in United States has significantly increased last few years, influenza Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination rates have declined. Furthermore, number routinely expanded. Communication strategies tailored may build confidence their providers. While characteristics perceptions associated with vaccinate are documented existing literature, more information is needed on promising communication practices preferred subgroups persons, particularly Black who higher VPDs greater risk pregnancy-related complications. Achieving safe influenza vaccination coverage among pregnant and breastfeeding women is a global health goal due to the potential risks of serious for both mother child. However, vaccine hesitancy remains significant barrier uptake. Since anxiety represents determinant in decision-making, this study aimed assess levels population explore association between women's characteristics, their reluctance, levels. A multicentre, cross-sectional was conducted February June 2022 using structured phone interviews assess: (1) socio-demographics clinical history; (2) anti-flu status, previous vaccination, Sars-CoV-2 infection (3) insights into during pregnancy; (4) attitudes toward Vaccination Attitudes Examination (VAX) Scale; (5) levels, measured by Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS). Among 387 participants, 22.8% were already vaccinated or expressed willingness be against influenza, 54% had an disorder. While not significantly associated with hesitancy, ongoing pregnancy emerged as independent predictor anxiety. Higher educational pregnancy, being get vaccinated, employed reduced while prior SARS-CoV-2 increased hesitancy. Fear unpredictable events lack healthcare professionals' recommendations reasons reluctance. Given low rates, these findings highlight need services enhance efforts provide clear counter misinformation ensure accurate safety information.

Background: HPV vaccination reduces the risk of anogenital warts, high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN2+), and cancer. To enhance immunogenicity, vaccines include adjuvants such as toll-like receptor agonists, which may theoretically trigger autoimmune responses. However, existing data on this remain conflicting. This systematic review meta-analysis assess association between disease onset in post-licensure controlled studies. Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted Scopus, PubMed/MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library from inception to June 2024, following PRISMA guidelines. The study protocol registered PROSPERO (CRD42024606834). Results: total 356 studies were identified, including cross-reference reviews. Fourteen met inclusion criteria for qualitative quantitative analysis, encompassing 8,088,838 patients, whom 2,041,865 received vaccine. Conclusions: found no significant development. further large-scale observational are needed, particularly among male recipients, current evidence is predominantly based female populations. Future research should also evaluate risks specific disorders refine vaccine’s safety profile.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated existing healthcare disparities among American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations, rooted in historical traumas and systemic marginalization. Methods: This study conducted at a single Indian Health Service (IHS) clinic central Michigan examines the effectiveness of educational interventions enhancing knowledge attitudes AI/AN populations. Utilizing pre/post prospective design, participants received either video or infographic intervention, followed by survey assessing attitudes. Results: results indicate significant improvements post-intervention, with both modalities proving effective. However, specific factors such as gender, political affiliation, place residence influenced knowledge, emphasizing importance tailored interventions. Conclusions: Despite limitations, this highlights critical role addressing vaccine hesitancy promoting health equity within communities. Moving forward, comprehensive strategies involving increased funding, culturally relevant interventions, policy advocacy are crucial mitigating
