The efficacy of a latent thermal battery (LTB) system is significantly enhanced through the implementation multistage configuration.This study centered on utilization organic phase change material (OPCM) as storage medium within LTB, aimed at augmenting charge and discharge rates system.The adoption approach effectively mitigates impact partial transitions OPCM, facilitating higher cumulative charging rate 2.39℃/min.This arrangement instrumental in minimizing instability heat release from each tank, thereby ensuring consistent heating process for working fluid throughout cycle.Consequently, LTB demonstrates an elevated power rate, reaching up to 7.64 Watts, with sustained duration 45.5 minutes.Such performance signifies efficacious mechanism, substantially improving overall functionality proposed configuration particularly advantageous systems operating low temperatures, including solar water air heaters.Additionally, contribute increased effective energy density aligning objectives developing compact efficient systems.The findings this research underscore potential maximizing operational efficiency storage, contributing advancement sustainable solutions.

This work proposes new approach for recycling plastic to form stabilized-hexadecanoic acid (SHA) as material thermal storage technology (TST). Surface profile of SHA shows the is embedded effectively, maintaining chemical and phase structural remains identic with HA. The synthesized indicates a lower supercooling (2.2 °C) high latent heat capacity above 135 J/g. Thermal energy is essential in both daily life and industrial applications. Molten salt phase‐change thermal storage technology provides an effective solution for improving utilization. However, traditional systems face several challenges, including low heat transfer efficiency difficulties measuring storage. These limitations hinder the widespread adoption of molten technology. To address these issues, this article presents design electromagnetic heating device. The study simulates analyzes behavior device under various conditions. Based on simulation results, compares distribution patterns at different cross sections. This also investigates density By selecting optimal temperature sensor location, proposes a metering scheme device, achieving accurate measurement device's capacity.

This study proposes a new model operation for an intermediate thermal storage (ITS) tank solar water heater system. It combines passive-charge active-discharge (PCAD) in single tank, potentially reducing the number of components system and improving net energy balance. The charge process is done by heating material using electric heater, which also suitable direct photovoltaic heating. temperature profile stabilized this stage shows close plateau line solid-liquid transition, indicating steady phase transition takes place. minimizes deviation between solid/liquid region, advantageous determining protocol. Heat storage technology has a critical role for number of applications involving renewable thermal energy (such as solar water heater). The application wax (n-octacosane/OCT) medium storing heat brings many positive influences the system. However, operational curve is undesirable OCT-based storage, which makes it necessary to use binding material. present work employed LD-class polymer (LDPE) and linear-LDPE materials OCT. mixture prepared through mechanical hot stirring, comes into two categories: SOCT1 (OCT/LD) SOCT2 (OCT/LLD). assessment calorimetry method shows an increment in transition temperature SOCT with value 2.1 °C 5.5 °C. This contributes variation fusion solid-liquid change both materials, amounted 132.05 J/g (SOCT1) 113.4 (SOCT2). Another related its chemical structural phase demonstrates that identical structure OCT, indicating mixed physically. The operational aspect of a latent thermal energy storage (LTES) system is highly dependent on the performance its heat material (LHSM). In this work, evaluation LHSM conducted using low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear LDPE. As an initial assessment, three different organic LHSMs are used for evaluation. assessment indicates that fusion varies between 142.45 J/g 198.8 J/g. Thermal decomposition demonstrates suitable operating power under 100 °C. addition polymer clearly influences charge/discharge rate each LHSM. For example, it has positive influence paraffin wax, which increases charge up to 54.4 %. A outcome also observed palmitic acid, highest at around 4.4 °C/min. The rating charge characteristic is crucial for the heat energy storage, particularly low-temperature system which uses paraffin wax. influence of different causes severe temperature fluctuation, undesirable system. It affected by unstable phase transformation, reducing distribution and makes average insufficient. In this work, fluctuation can be minimized adding polyethylene plastic as stabilizer added ratio weight 15% from total mass 134 grams. Each material mixed in liquid state, stirred molded into apparatus. transition evaluation performed, showing mixture indicates an additional peak after principal ranging between 15.26 °C – 19.34 (melting) 11.98 9.45 (freezing). steady operation lowest variation only 0.3 °C/min, obtained wax polyethylene. same charge, has 2.9 signifying effect unsteady melting transition. clearly demonstrates addition promotes a better transformation under various maintaining effective storage.
