Human tested for presence DENV antibodies (ELISA IFA) RNA (RT-qPCR), mosquito (RT-qPCR). IgM or IgG found 8 serum samples, no one sample RT-qPCR positive. No cross-reactivity with flaviviruses detected seropositive supporting infection. One classified as confirmed (IgG seroconversion paired samples) five probable (IgM detection single sample). additional patient, sampled only once, seropositive. Two individuals fever rash three weeks before testing. re-emergence highlights need continuous monitoring circulation both humans vectors.
