We demonstrate the generation of a unique regime multiple solitons in Tm-doped ultrafast fiber laser at ∼1938.72 nm. The temporal pulse-to-pulse separation among solitons, 10 single-pulse bunch, increases from 0.89 ns to 1.85 per round trip. In addition, with increasing pump power, number bunched 3 up 24 linearly, while average time soliton bunch varies irregularly between ∼0.80 and ∼1.52 ns. These results contribute more profound comprehension nonlinear pulse dynamics lasers.

A >600 MHz harmonic mode-locked femtosecond holmium-doped (Ho-doped) fiber laser is presented by using the nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR) method. When works in fundamental mode-locking (FML) regime at 2063.1 nm, a pulse repetition rate of 20.8 obtained with corresponding duration 983 fs. By increasing pump power, 29th-order (HML) operation Ho-doped realized for first time, to best our knowledge. The maximum 603 2063.7 nm achieved 996 fs, super-mode suppression radio (SMSR) as high 33 dB.

Abstract Noise-like pulses (NLPs) are one of the important phenomena in mode-locked fiber lasers. The formation and evolution NLPs components nonlinear dynamics. A transition behavior between Q-switched (QSML) a figure-9 laser by amplifying loop mirror is firstly reported. At pump power 1.817 W, was observed. shape envelope this similar to that Q-switched, variation pulse duration with conforms features QSML. Meanwhile, autocorrelation curve partially NLPs. By increasing or adjusting polarization state cavity, remains stable. Pure obtained additionally adding 50 m single-mode cavity. may facilitate potential contributions enrich understanding dynamics passively
