There are considerable reserves of low-grade solid potash resources in the shallow part Mahai Salt Lake Qaidam Basin, and lithium brine resulting from solid–liquid conversion mining quite abundant. The comprehensive utilization these is an important urgent problem. In this study, to fully utilize resources, ore was used for systematic simulated dissolution experiments, combined with geochemical X-ray diffraction analyses. following key results were obtained: (1) Most Li+ area deposited on soluble salt minerals silt or clay, appropriate concentration solvent can help dissolve more K+; (2) saturation time longer than that K+. Therefore, mine be appropriately extended during production process Li+; (3) aqueous solution method separate clay deposits associated rock brine, which a potential resource. These experimental provide theoretical basis pan production.
