The
current
study
explored
the
relationships
among
adult
attachment,
friendship
closeness,
and
romantic
relationship
quality
in
emerging
adulthood.
A
total
of
229
Chinese
adults
participated
answered
a
series
self-report
questionnaires
regarding
variables.
According
to
results,
we
found
that
attachment
avoidance
had
stronger
negative
association
with
than
anxiety
for
young
people.
Moreover,
moderation
analysis
demonstrated
higher
closeness
would
only
alleviate
relation
between
avoidant
quality.
For
avoidantly
attached
individuals,
developing
their
friendships
can
be
instrumental
protecting
from
orientation.
