Research progress on ultrasound in bacteria-mediated tumor treatment

Bacteria-mediated tumor treatment (BMTT) has recently garnered significant attention as a promising avenue in treatment. Despite the application of various strains animal models and clinical trials, effectiveness BMTT been hindered by its toxicity inefficiency. In recent years, it explored that applying biological effects ultrasound could further improve precision BMTT. This review briefly introduces challenges summarizes how efficacy safety strategies involving genetic engineering, visualization targeted delivery. The potential limitations advancing controllable are also discussed.
