Abstract Pesticide pollution in aquatic ecosystems poses a prevalent and pressing concern, with particular emphasis on developing nations. The effect of cypermethrin (CP), synthetic type II pyrethroid pesticide, phenotypic traits, enzyme activities, biochemical nutrients freshwater, mrigal fish ( Cirrhinus mrigala ) was investigated this study. Fingerlings were exposed to CP concentrations 0.0065, 0.013, 0.026 ppm determine the median lethal concentration (LC50) for 32 hours subsequently, three sub-lethal 0.0026 ppm, 0.0013 0.00065 employed analyze chronic toxicity stress 6 weeks. Fish fingerlings tolerated well at lower (0.0065 ppm) over exposure times, while 50% mortality occurred 0.13 after 4 exposure, respectively. In present investigation, growth eye diameter showed marked differences among treatments, remaining, total length (TL), standard (SL), head (HL), tail length, width (HW), body depth (BD), area (BA) dressing percentage (DP) found similar treatments. This study revealed that amylase protease activities decreased significantly increasing CP. On other hand, (protein, lipid, moisture, ash) treatments similar. proves short-time has negative impact enzymatic however, further studies, such as metabolomic approaches are required fully explore during exposures.

Thiacloprid (THI) is a synthetic insecticide, the misuse targeted chiefly to control aphid pest species in orchards and vegetables.
