Abstract Lost circulation is a prevalent and intricate phenomenon in the domain of oil gas drilling, which has resulted significant economic losses for global industry. Common gel lost materials have been observed to exhibit deficiencies temperature resistance strength. In this study, lignin-based plugging hydrogel (Lig-plugel) was prepared using simple method. The employed self-crosslinking mechanism lignin high-temperature environment, reduced quantity crosslinker, achieved objective regulating gelation time, enhanced its mechanical properties. maximum compressive strain Lig-plugel synthesised at 200°C with 25 wt% crosslinker amount reached 76.83%, strength toughness 1.85 MPa 276.13 KJ/m3, respectively. Furthermore, exhibits excellent heat resistance. It demonstrates minimal mass loss during thermal decomposition environments below 220°C, sufficient applications. Additionally, simulated experiments indicate that an effective effect adaptable. This study presents environmentally friendly sustainable solution problem broad application prospect field drilling.

As an oil displacement system for reservoir in-depth conformance control, the black nanosheet (BN) can fully play role of reducing oil–water interfacial tension, emulsifying crude oil, and changing rock wettability. However, at present, dispersion stability BNs is poor, aggregation prone to occur, which leads sedimentation before pumping, affecting their injection performance. This study used a fine organic synthesis method prepare modified BN. The performance BN in low salinity water was analyzed by using multiple light stabilizer zeta potential analyzer. A device employed conduct experiments on after modification compare effects. Results showed that with good be prepared from BNs, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, urea. Transmission electron microscopy testing had powder flake structure 70 × 400 nm, indicated application low-permeability recovery. introduced cationic hydrophilic groups alkyl long chains, increasing absolute 11.10 13.50 mV. thermal index value measured scattering confirmed significant improvement its microscopic perspective. Compared unmodified significantly increase recovery degree, 12.51 percentage points. developed this work high effect, could provide new chemical efficient development reservoirs.

Since reservoirs with permeability less than 10 mD are characterized by high injection difficulty, high-pressure drop loss, and low pore throat mobilization during the water drive process, CO2 is often used for development in actual production to reduce difficulty carbon emission simultaneously. However, microfractures usually developed low-permeability reservoirs, which further reduces of driving medium. At same time, this makes injected gas flow very fast, while utilization rate low, resulting a degree recovery. This paper conducted series studies on displacement effect CO2-soluble foaming systems fractured (the core matrix about 0.25 mD). For two blowing agents CG-1 CG-2, effects phase state, content, oil content static performance were first investigated; then, more effective agent was preferred replacement experiments according results; finally, sealing improving recovery fully open investigated at different rates concentrations, parameters optimized. The results show that still has good under volume various contents can be subsequent experiments. After selecting concentration, cores conditions 0.6 mL/min 2.80%. A novel micro-dispersed-gel (MDG)-strengthened-alkali-compound flooding system was proposed for enhanced oil recovery in high-water-cut mature oilfields. Micro-dispersed gel has different adaptability and application schemes with sodium carbonate hydroxide. The MDG-strengthened-alkali can reduce the interfacial tension to an ultra-low interfacial-tension level of 10−2 mN/m, which reverse wettability rock surface. After 30 days aging, MDG-strengthened-Na2CO3 good viscosity retention 74.5%, emulsion stability 79.13%. enhanced-oil-recovery ability (MDGSC) is 43.91%, slightly weaker than 47.78% MDG-strengthened-NaOH (MDGSH) system. crude-oil-production mechanism two systems different, but they all show excellent performance recovery. MDGSC mainly regulates seals micro-fractures, forcing subsequent injected water enter low-permeability area, it wash remaining micro-fractures. MDGSH removes on wall surface micro-fractures by efficient washing, MDG particles also form weak plugging be used as alternative enhance highly heterogeneous
