Abstract Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disorder associated with insulin resistance and ensuing dysglycemia, dyslipidemia, inflammation. Owing to the putative benefits of curcumin–piperine combination, we explored efficacy this combination in improving cardiometabolic indices patients T2DM hypertriglyceridemia. In double‐blind clinical trial, 72 hypertriglyceridemia were randomized receive either tablet containing 500 mg curcuminoids plus 5 piperine, or matched placebo for 12 weeks. Anthropometric indices, blood pressure, glycemic lipid profile, C‐reactive protein (CRP), quality life, mood evaluated at baseline end study.
