The skin is the first line of defense to protect host from external environmental damage. When damaged, wound provides convenience for invasion substances. prolonged nonhealing wounds can also lead numerous subsequent complications, seriously affecting quality life patients. To solve this problem, proteins and peptide components that promote healing have been discovered in animals, which act on key pathways involved healing, such as PI3K/AKT, TGF-β, NF-κ B, JAK/STAT pathways. So far, some formulations topical drug delivery developed, including hydrogels, microneedles, electrospinning nanofibers. In addition, high-performance dressings utilized, great potential healing. Here, research progress promotion by animal-derived summarized, future directions are discussed.

Scorpion venoms contain different classes of molecules with possible pharmacological activities, making them sources bioactive for the development new drugs against infections caused by pathogens, such as malaria, a disease protozoa genus Plasmodium. Malaria faces challenges in its control due to pathogen resistance available antimalarials. In this study, we evaluated venom activity Amazonian scorpions and FRC3, analysis was performed flow cytometry. At analyzed concentrations, found that crude had an average inhibition 87% at concentration 100 µg/mL, above obtained drug (quinine), which mean 84% FCR3. Regarding , lower observed comparison potential standard drug, showed low toxicity human fibroblast MRC5. Because peptides toxins from scorpion are related biological functions, they can be used design therapeutic agents, being source antimalarial drugs.
