Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze the research hotspots and future trends in field ferroptosis hepatocellular carcinoma past 10 years by using bibliometrics visualization software, provide reference for directions field. Methods Web Science database searched from January 1, 2012, October 30, 2024, annual publication volume, countries, institutions, journals, authors, references, keywords, other information were analyzed bibliometrics, VOSviewer, CiteSpace. Results A total 645 English articles 729 institutions 32 countries included study, with 4545 authors published 261 journals. In three years, 518 published, accounting 80.3%. China has most publications, followed United States. Frontiers Oncology had highest number papers (n=26), while Cell citations (n=1206). current mainly focuses on two aspects: one is mechanism explore new therapeutic targets, exploration methods, such as photodynamic therapy nanomaterials, order inhibit proliferation tumor cells, reduce drug resistance, enhance efficacy regulating ferroptosis, which may become a development trend. Conclusion recent there have been increasing studies association between carcinoma. This first comprehensive bibliometric provides reliable promotes its further development.

In recent 10 years, ferroptosis has become a hot research direction in the scientific community as new way of cell death. Iron toxicity accumulation and lipotoxicity are unique features. Several studies have found that is involved regulation hepatic microenvironment various metabolisms, thereby mediating progression related liver diseases. For example, NRF2 FSP1, important regulatory proteins ferroptosis, development tumors failure. this manuscript, we present mechanisms concern with addition, summarize clinical advances targeted therapy for We expect manuscript can provide perspective treatment

Chronic and excessive alcohol consumption induces alcohol-related liver injury (ALI), characterized by oxidative stress (OS), disrupted lipid metabolism, gut microbiota dysbiosis. Given the lack of effective pharmacological treatments, flavonoid-rich fruits have attracted growing attention as potential intervention strategies. This study investigated independent combined effects extracts from Citri reticulatae pericarpium (CRPE) Chaenomeles speciosa (Sweet) Nakai (CSPE), previously shown to possess hepatoprotective properties, in a mouse model ethanol-induced chronic ALI. The flavonoid composition CRPE CSPE was using LC-MS/MS, their mechanisms action were further elucidated through transcriptomic analysis. results showed that CSPE, whether administered individually or combination, effectively alleviated alcohol-induced hepatic histological damage inflammatory responses. Furthermore, both significantly reduced OS improved metabolism. Notably, CRPE, combination regulated microbiota, increased abundances beneficial bacteria such Lactobacillus Bifidobacterium, along with elevated levels short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). These findings highlight combinations multiple fruit exhibit significant alleviating ALI modulating providing valuable insights for development functional foods.
