Abstract
Apoptosis
plays

However,
viruses
have
evolved
strategies
to
evade
apoptosis,
enabling
their
persistence
within
the
host.
Z-DNA
binding
protein
1
(ZBP1)
is
potent
innate
immune
sensor
that
detects
cytoplasmic
nucleic
acids
activates
response

pathogens.
When
apoptosis
inhibited
by
viral
invasion,
ZBP1
can
be
activated
compensate
for
effect
of
triggering
an
response.
This
review
examined
mechanisms
inhibition

during
invasion.

between
cGAS-STING

Pulmonary
