Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a life-threatening condition characterized by right ventricular (RV) remodeling, which major determinant of patient survival. The progression remodeling significantly influenced mitochondrial dysfunction, providing profound insights into vascular health and cardiovascular risk. In this review, we discuss the molecular targets, pathophysiological characteristics, potential mechanisms underlying dysfunction in PH, encompassing disturbances dynamics, inflammation, dysregulation energy metabolism. Finally, review primary therapeutic targets currently utilized to address cardiac resulting from damage. Hopefully, might inspire novel approaches management disorders.
