Cancer continues to be a significant global health issue. Traditional genetic-based approaches understanding and treating cancer have had limited success. Researchers are increasingly exploring the impact of environment, specifically inflammation metabolism, on development. Examining role mitochondria in this context is crucial for connections between metabolic health, physical activity, cancer. This study aimed review literature topic through comprehensive narrative various databases including MedLine (PubMed), Cochrane (Wiley), Embase, PsychINFO, CinAhl. The highlighted importance mitochondrial function overall regulating key events development, such as apoptosis. concept “mitochondrial fitness” emphasizes cell particularly their oxidative functions, how proper can prevent replication errors regulate Engaging high-energy-demanding movement, exercise, powerful intervention improving increasing resistance environmental stressors. These findings support significance considering development treatment. Further research required fully understand mechanisms by which activity improves potentially reduces risk
