Many reports state that different structures of M. grandiflora contain bioactive components. Nonetheless, phytochemical studies reported the extracted essential oils are chemically and remarkably variable in their qualitative quantitative compositions. Further Mexican needs to be done. Thus, research aimed characterize a) chemical composition, b) antioxidant activity c) cytotoxicity effect two flower extracts. The composition was evaluated by preliminary test followed thin layer chromatography, UV-Vis FTIR spectrophotometer analysis. extracts measured free radical-scavenging (ABTS) stable radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) method an Artemia salina bioassay. Water ethyl showed presence organic chromophores such as flavonoids. This study rigorously investigates the bioactive properties and characteristics of extracts derived from flowers bark four distinct Magnolia species: champaca, denudata, grandiflora officinalis. The primary objective is to evaluate potential application these in cosmetics other relevant industries. We used ethanol extract compounds plants conducted various tests, including spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC-MS, microbiological analyses. extracts, particularly rich polyphenols (55.18 mg GAE/g), displayed significant antioxidant capabilities, with IC 50 values ranging between 9.99 mg/mL 23.23 mg/mL. quantified different compounds: phenolic acids (6.259 27.883 mg/g dry weight), aglycone flavonoids (61.224 135.788 dw), glycosidic (17.265 57.961 lignans (150.071 374.902 dw). identified 76 volatile compounds, predominantly oxygenated monoterpenes sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, which contribute antibacterial effectiveness extracts.
