Euphorbia is a large genus of the Euphorbiaceae family. Around 250 species have been studied chemically and pharmacologically; different compounds isolated from these species, especially diterpenes triterpenes. Several reports show that several anti-inflammatory activity, which can be attributed to presence diterpenes, such as abietanes, ingenanes, lathyranes. In addition, it was found some anti-cancer activity. this review, we included with or cytotoxic effects published 2018 September 2023. The databases used for review were Science Direct, Scopus, PubMed, Springer, Google Scholar, using keywords 68 studies collected analyzed regarding activities 264 obtained 36 genus. in are terpenes (95%), 68% types triterpenes (approximately 15%).

Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba (EHH) is a globally distributed plant commonly utilized in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and health food within China. The dried aerial parts of EHH are well-recognized as foods for the management diarrhea other intestinal diseases. Known its therapeutic effects, such heat-clearing, detoxification, blood cooling, hemostasis, dampness, elimination, jaundice relief, has yielded 197 bioactive compounds identified to date, including terpenoids, flavonoids, phenolic acids, tannins, alkaloids, sterols, lactones, coumarins, constituents, with flavonoids highlighting wide-ranging pharmacological properties medicinal significance. Despite popularity research, limited systematic comprehensive information been provided on EHH. Therefore, we provide an in-depth overview EHH, covering botanical characteristics, uses, phytochemical composition, properties, additional applications. Furthermore, it addresses current challenges limitations modern research offering critical perspectives guide future studies this field.

Comprehensive Summary Psoriasis is a chronic immune‐mediated inflammatory skin disease and the TNF‐ α an important therapeutic target of this disease. In our continuous study bioactive natural products from fungi, first ergosterol‐polyether adducts, polyaspers A ( 1 ) B 2 ), along with two known ergosterols, (3 β ,5 ,6 ,22 E )‐5,6‐epoxy‐3‐hydroxyergosta‐8,22‐dien‐7‐one 3 calvasterol 4 were isolated Aspergillus sp. TJ507. Structure elucidation was accomplished by extensive spectroscopic analysis single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction tests. Polyaspers possessing unequalled 6/6/6/5/5/6/6/6/6 nonacyclic system, their biosynthetic pathways proposed to include intermolecular cyclization Diels‐Alder reactions. Activity screen these isolates showed that — could improve cell viability in actinomycin D/TNF‐ induced L929 cells death model, EC 50 values 49.85, 46.75 4.99 μmol/L, respectively, activity even comparable positive control SPD304. Further investigations discovered suppress response simulated HaCaT cells. imiquimod‐induced psoriasis murine significantly restrained development symptoms reduced expression IL‐17 IL‐23, presenting anti‐psoriatic effect. As such, those ergosterol derivatives, might serve as lead compounds for novel inhibitory agents clinical treatment psoriasis.
