The application of biostimulants in vegetable cultivation has emerged as a promising approach to enhance the nutritional quality crops, particularly controlled environment agriculture and soilless culture systems. In this study, we employed rigorous methodology, applying various amino acids, Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), fulvic acid, chitosan, vermicompost along with mineral fertilizers, both foliar via roots, greenhouse tomatoes during spring cultivation. experiment, conducted coir pith medium using ‘Samyeli F1’ tomato cultivar, demonstrated that plants treated performed better than control plants. Notable variations components were observed across treatments. PGPR had best effects on physical properties fruit, showing highest fruit weight, length, equatorial diameter, volume, skin elasticity, flesh hardness while maintaining high color parameters L, a, b. acid significant enhancements total phenolics flavonoids, suggesting potential boosts antioxidant properties. Amioacid notably elevated soluble solids, indicating sweetness overall taste improvements. On other hand, stood out for its ability elevate flavonoids enhancing vitamin C content, comprehensive enhancement quality. addition, most impact plant growth yield, achieving 43% increase over yield 10.39 kg/m2. These findings underline specific benefits different biostimulants, offering valuable insights optimizing practices produce enhanced health-promoting

Seed potato production often relies on mineral fertilizers. However, biofertilizers offer an eco-friendly, cost-effective means to enhance nutrient uptake, plant growth, yields, and quality while bolstering stress resilience. Two cultivars (‘Spunta’ ‘Russet’), two in vitro materials as microtubers plantlets, four bio-fertilizers were used produce seed minitubers. These included mycorrhiza (T2), microalgae (T3), beneficial bacteria (PGPR) (T4), vermicompost (T5). Treatment T1, which received 100% nutrients, was the control, given 40% of nutrition relative control. The study clearly demonstrated effectiveness improving growth parameters, particularly highlighting efficacy vermicompost. highest tuber yield 173.12 g obtained from combination ‘Spunta’ + microtuber vermicompost’. In both varieties, led a higher than plantlets. terms diameter, weight, number, performance cultivar significantly that ‘Russet’ cultivar. tubers derived had larger diameter heavier those produced plantlets smaller size but more number. production, we recommend use microtuber, supplementing with yield, size, number curbing costs, eco-friendliness.

The application of pesticides in agriculture leads to improved crop quality and promotes high productivity. However, the uninterrupted use these chemicals is directly related environmental impacts, affecting biodiversity health ecosystems humans. In this sense, mannosylerythritol lipids (MELs) are a promising alternative, as they biosurfactants with antimicrobial, amphiphilic characteristics, low toxicity. Thus, search partial reduction chemical agriculture, work aimed evaluate biostimulant effect one homologs MELs–MEL-B on germination Monica lettuce seeds (Lactuca sativa L.) influence plant growth root development. germinated different concentrations MEL-B. incidence seeds, index, average time were evaluated. MEL-B at 158 mg/L stimulated seed germination, growth, seedling development parameters by 65%, while 316 632 did not exceed 45% for parameters. It was observed that biostimulated appearance lateral roots promoted only 7% stress, difference 47% grown mg/L. Furthermore, highest concentration which there no phytotoxic seeds. increase enzymatic activity corroborates stress mg/L, showing results 54% stressed roots. an unprecedented way, study proved has its concentration.
