Exchangeable aluminum (Al) ions released from acidic soils with pH < 5.5 inhibit root elongation of crops, ultimately leading to yield reduced. It is necessary identify the quantitative trait locus (QTLs) and candidate genes that confer toxicity resistance understand mechanism improve tolerance rapeseed. In this study, an F2 segregating population was derived a cross between Al-tolerance inbred line FDH188 (R178) -sensitive FDH152 (S169), F2:3 were used as materials map QTLs associated relative taproot (RET) under Al stress. Based on bulked segregant analysis sequencing (BSA-seq), three (qAT-A07-1, qAT-A07-2, qAT-A09-1) detected significantly RET, 656 screened. By combined BSA RNA-seq analysis, 55 showed differentially expressed, including encoding ABC transporter G (ABCG), zinc finger protein, NAC, ethylene-responsive transcription factor (ERF), etc. These probably positive factors in coping stress This study provides new insight into exploring genes’ response by BSA-seq helpful further research

Planting aluminum-tolerant legume green manure is a cost-effective and sustainable method to increase soil fertility as well decrease Al toxicity in acidic soils. By analyzing the relative root elongation of seven species, common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) was identified an Al-resistant species. Furthermore, cultivars 418 (cv. Sujian No.3) 426 Lanjian were -sensitive cultivars, respectively, among 12 germplasms. The growth less inhibited by both germination stage seedling than that 426. Under toxicity, accumulated roots shoots. Citrate more abundant compared oxalate or malate. internal citrate contents showed no significant difference between under either control treatment. However, efflux increased response but not higher stress Consistently, VsMATE1 expression faster greater extent stress. These results indicated VsMATE1-mediated might play important role resistance vetch. It suggested valuable candidate gene for aluminum breeding.
