Apple scab incited by the ascomycete Venturia inaequalis poses a significant threat to apple cultivation, necessitating reassessment of existing disease management strategies. Attempts manage include diverse approaches like developing forecasting models and extensive application synthetic chemical fungicides. However, efficacy these methods is compromised inconsistencies, environmental concerns, pathogen’s resistance, exploration alternative sustainable Addressing challenges associated with management, this review strongly supports shift towards integration biological control agents (BCAs). Emphasising transformative synergy between BCAs their bioactive secondary metabolites, we highlight in advancing precision through innovative solutions. The effectively presents strong justification for by-products into offering insights benefits, risks, while outlining promising prospects. Ultimately, it expected drive adoption environmentally conscious practices effective management.
