We conducted a 12-week randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial to investigate the potential impact of Bifidobacterium bifidum (Bf-688) supplementation on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Children with ADHD who were already receiving stable dose methylphenidate (MPH) treatment enrolled and randomly assigned two groups: one add-on Bf-688 (daily bacterial count 5 × 109 CFUs) (n = 51) other placebo 51). All participants underwent assessments using Conners’ Continuous Performance Test (CPT) Auditory Attention (CATA). Additionally, fecal samples collected at beginning (week 0) endpoint 12). Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common psychiatric condition among children and adolescents, often associated with high risk of comorbidities. Currently, ADHD diagnosis relies exclusively on clinical presentation patient history, underscoring the need for clinically relevant, reliable, objective biomarkers. Background: Psychological disorders are prevalent in patients having undergone gastrointestinal cancer surgery, and their emotional status may further deteriorate during subsequent chemotherapy. Psychobiotics specific probiotics that have the unique characteristics of producing neuroactive substances thought to act on brain-gut axis. The aim present study was evaluate benefits a psychobiotic formula depression anxiety status, as well perceived stress, versus placebo chemotherapy course following surgery for cancer. In recent years, due to growing interest in gut health, the potential benefits of probiotics on have received much attention. Probiotics, now readily available both dietary supplements and a variety foods, become focal point consumer health choices. This study aims explore impact consumer-related factors, including socio-demographic profiles, status, knowledge, acceptance products Hong Kong. A total 385 participants engaged survey, providing data for an in-depth analysis how these factors influence attitudes toward probiotics. Findings revealed general confidence safety among respondents; however, there was noticeable gap understanding. The highlighted correlation between knowledge specific attributes, with higher educational attainment positively linked greater awareness. Furthermore, research indicated that women exhibit consciousness propensity consumption compared men.
