In order to determine the optimal moulding process parameters of biomass seedling pots prepared from fermented cow dung mixed with corn stover, pressure, baking time, and temperature were taken as influencing factors, expansion rate, durability wet swelling rate (48 h), resistance damage evaluation indexes, Box–Behnken design response surface method was used analyze significance interactions among different factors in optimize process. The experiment conducted Biomass Laboratory Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University. interaction between results showed that optimum conditions obtained using following: a pressure 520.393 kN, 202.870 °C, time 8.573 min. model validated by testing value 10.522% for expansion, 99.598% 11.145% 4503.545 N damage. experimental verification deviation actual under this condition predicted is less than 5%, indicating reproduces well meets requirements. Based on the photocatalytic activity and magnetic nature of magnetite goethite, as well oxygen storage characteristic cerianite, a ternary hybrid composite including cubic CeO2, Fe3O4 orthorhombic FeOOH, designated Fe3O4/FeOOH/CeO2, was successfully synthesized with different Ce:Fe molar ratios using simple hydrothermal route without subsequent calcination process, employed photocatalysts for degradation Acid Orange 7 (AO7) dye. The absorption range light by Fe3O4/FeOOH/CeO2 composites broadened, intensity enhanced. Implementing greener approaches is a sustainable and eco-friendly methodology for nanocomposite synthesis. This work reports the fabrication of Fe-doped ZnS (Fe0.3Zn0.7S) its broad-spectrum applications. The systematic characterization was carried out using several advanced analytical techniques. DLS, Zeta potential, SEM, XPS, TEM performed morphological size assessments engineered nanocomposite. Eventually, XRD provided valuable insights into crystalline behavior nanocomposites were then treated against organic dye Safranin O, which displayed 93% degradation within an hour with rate constant value 0.0326 min−1. Parameters influencing percentage degradation, such as temperature, pH, etc., also discussed. Moreover, LCMS test conducted to evaluate presence reactive intermediates. O’s confirmed by identifying intermediate products, compounds m/z values 335.84, 321.81, 306.79, 292.77, 257.32, indicative progressive breakdown. Finally, photocatalytic enactment examination verified that prepared nanocomposite’s nitrogen fixation (38.96 µmolg−1) way greater (~4 times) than pristine compound. In this study, La2O3 and CeO2 nanopowders were prepared using a simple cost-effective precipitation method.
