The sugar industry produces significant quantities of waste biomass, while other industrial sectors generate iron scrap as waste. This study seeks to make use these products using an in situ approach that integrates carbonization, activation, and magnetization convert sugarcane into a magnetic carbon composite adsorbent. porosity the activated was enhanced by activating agent potassium hydroxide (KOH) further improved addition scrap, which also imparted properties composite. developed increased overall adsorption capacity synthesis conditions were varied examine effects on amount KOH used influenced performance material. best-performing adsorbent demonstrated strong potential treatment wastewater exhibiting 1736.93 mg/g for antibiotic tetracycline. enable simple separation recovery, making reusable lowering operating costs. provides clear framework waste-derived adsorbents can offer financial environmental advantages remaining effective contexts.
