Polymer–metal composite materials have been extensively employed for thermal management in the electronic field. However, their application is hindered by limited conductivity and inadequate electrical insulation. In this study, we present a novel strategy to prepare advanced polymer–metal films incorporating cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) with orientated polydopamine (PDA) modified aluminum (Al) flakes, employing straightforward process involving vacuum-assisted filtration hot-pressing. The resulting Al@PDA/CNF exhibited superior in-plane of 22.9 W/(m·K) resistivity 1.6 × 1016 Ω·cm, outperforming Al/CNF films. Molecular dynamics simulation results showed that interfacial interaction between Al CNF was greatly improved hydrogen-bonding coated PDA, which acts as "bridge" promote phonon vibration matching, excellent heat transfer insulation properties. Our study provides promising approach preparation high-performance interface (TIMs) insulation, demonstrating great potential applications.

SA508Gr.4N steel is commonly used in nuclear pressure vessels. The current study discloses the impact of austenitizing temperature on its martensitic transformation. Various temperatures were employed to examine transformation at different experimental conditions. characteristics grain boundaries, microstructure, kinetics, and crystallography phase following process analyzed. Austenitizing had minimal effects critical transition. However, an increase resulted larger sizes. composition primarily consisted lath martensite, accompanied by a small amount residual austenite (RA). As increased, martensite-start (Ms) initially decreased then increased. On other hand, martensite-finish (Mf) showed no significant sensitivity changes temperature. Moreover, average size martensite structure was there increased tendency for variant selection as combination specific orientation relationships appeared. This very valuable revealing microstructure evolution temperatures.

Wearable piezoresistive sensors have aroused considerable attention for their huge potential in emerging applications such as healthcare monitoring and intelligent electronics. However, the fabrication of that combine excellent sensing performance with outstanding working reliability watery environments still remains challenging. Herein, a superhydrophobic polyurethane (PU) sponge was proposed sensor through synthesis d-asparagine-modified MXene nanosheets (MXene-NH2) coating conductive cross-linkable layer constructed by dihydroxyl-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS(OH)) MXene-NH2 nanosheets. The microscale skeleton nanoscale PDMS-MXene nanosheet wrinkles formed hierarchically rough structure support superhydrophobicity water contact angle 160°. Benefiting from chemically network strong adhesion coating, obtained PDMS-MXene@PU exhibited robust repellency angles (WCAs) larger than 150° after enduring chemical physical damages. Owing to synergistic effect production microcrack junctions separation between backbones, successfully applied full-scale human motions (e.g., blowing, facial expression, finger knee bending, etc.) performances gauge factor reaching −1.9. findings conceivably stand out methodology fabricate desirable property innovative broad even under special conditions.

Packaging accounts for 46% of plastic waste, and due to microplastic concerns associated with plastics, coated paper is seen as a greener alternative. However, the existing lacks recyclability biodegradability. Reported here synthesis degradable polymeric waxes coating applications. The synthesized were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography. onto kraft using both solvent-based solvent-free (hot-press) methods. was evaluated water resistance (Cobb1800) oil (kit rating). Additionally, packaging-relevant properties, such moisture barrier tests thermal sealing tests, also performed on paper. Furthermore, degradation repulping performed. This use-inspired work holds promise advance sustainable packaging that will offer benefits human environmental health.
