Our
research

In
this
study,
poly(vinyl-alcohol)
(PVA)/chitosan
(CS)
polymer
blend
films
with
different
amounts
of
CS
(0,
5,
20
and
35
wt.
%)
crosslinked
by
glutaraldehyde
(GA)
were
prepared.
The
structure
properties
the
prepared
studied

dynamic
mechanical
analysis
(DMA),
differential
scanning
calorimetry
(DSC),
time-lag
permeation

DMA
showed
that
reduces
crystallinity
degree
PVA,
leading
to
a
higher
amount
amorphous
phase
contributing

relaxation
corresponds
glass-to-rubber
transition.

mobility
can
be
restricted
crosslinking

PVA

confirmed

on
nitrogen

Due
to
the
shortcomings
of
traditional
medical
dressings,
development
new
dressings
has
become
a
hot
topic.
However,
mechanical
properties
hydrogel
fibers
are
relatively
poor,
so
they
rarely
spun
and
knitted,
tend

sheet
gels
or
laminated
with
fabrics
as
dressings.
In
this
study,
novel
fiber-type
dressing
excellent
biocompatibility,
pH-monitoring
function,
drug
slow-release
effect,
fluid-absorbing
ability
was
created
using
sodium
alginate
(SA),
polyvinyl
alcohol
(PVA),
curcumin
(CUR)
based
on
wet
spinning
technology
weft-knitting
technique.

X-ray
diffraction
tensile
tests
demonstrated
that
PVA
could
enhance
crystallinity
fiber,
facilitating
formation
fabrics.
