The influence of the addition ground buckwheat hulls on properties biocomposite basis 3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate (PHBV) is presented here. changes in material after repeated reprocessing—up to five recycling cycles—are written paper. Analysis shrinkage, water adsorption, selected mechanical properties, tensile impact strength, hardness and microstructure surface layer was performed. results show that application into biopolymer decreases shrinkage. It improves dimensional stability, as well increases adsorption wake hydrophobic filler. natural filler also leads an increase composite stiffness. decrease strength elongation at break noted. reprocessing initially led a its but stabilized further processing cycles. This indicates improvement homogeneity. microscopic analysis shows hull particles were better embedded matrix recycling. PHBV–ground characterized by stable resistance, which makes it promising terms sustainable development.

The objective of this study was to address the limitations biodegradable plastics—low economic benefits and marketing difficulties. To end, analyzed production processes two plastics: polylactic acid (PLA) polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT). Based on analysis, economic, technical, environmental improvement indicators were constructed, an optimization model with three objectives profit, carbon emission cost, process risk established. In study, we embedded improved NSGA-III algorithm obtain Pareto optimal solution set. We also proposed entropy-weighted efficiency index (EWEI) for analysis transport advantages based distribution plastics production, road density, regional prices. With a line capacity 10,000 tons 8% discount rate, 10-year return PBAT products 7,039,931.23 yuan higher than that PLA products. profit 488.92 per ton production. However, exhibited carbon-emission cost products, especially risk, by 0.11%. East China region has obvious geographical advantages, but Southwest is constrained in presence mountainous terrain. Therefore, it imperative optimize China’s overall industrial layout plastics, strengthen acquisition support sustainable promotion market, effectively minimize pollution caused traditional plastics.

Increasing environmental awareness has driven a shift in furniture production from traditional materials, such as wood and wood-based panels, to sustainable environmentally friendly alternatives, natural-fiber-reinforced (NFR) composites. Environmental consciousness become key factor both consumer choices, with growing demand for sustainably sourced eco-friendly manufacturing processes, durable that helps reduce the impact of disposable products on environment. This paper analyzes various requirements polymer composites used applications, including performance, structural–functional, ecological, economical, safety requirements. It discusses factors influencing performance composite selection matrix reinforcing fibers, matrix-to-reinforcement ratio, choice technology, well compatibility bonding between fibers. Additionally, several standards commonly determine mechanical, physical, chemical properties these materials are presented.

Coffee silverskin, a by-product of coffee processing, was studied using microscopic (SEM), spectroscopic (FTIR), and thermogravimetric (TGA, DSC) methods to assess its use as substitute filler in the manufacturing plywood. TGA showed that material compatible with plywood hot pressing temperatures (140 °C) it thermally stable up 50 °C, notable decomposition event at 335 °C. Functional groups like hydroxyl carbonyl were detected by FTIR analysis, indicating possible hydrogen bonds chemical adaptability. DSC analysis confirmed structural alterations highlighting endothermic processes associated dehydration an exothermic transition over 150 silverskin substituted rye flour adhesive compositions different concentrations (0%, 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%). Due constraints filler, larger (10% 20%) dramatically lowered bonding strength, whereas low amounts (1% 5%) attained strengths equivalent flour, reaching 5 N mm-2, according internal bond strength tests. SEM images revealed smaller, more fragmented, porous particles than larger, compact particles, which affected mechanical interlocking adhesion. The findings point environmentally friendly performance-balancing for conventional fillers, especially medium levels.

Nowadays Fused Deposition Modeling, a widely utilized additive manufacturing technology, is significantly transforming as modern production processes. Beyond basic uses to it role in sustainability, Modeling offers processing potential for implanting circular economy by reducing virgin materials consumption and enhance the integration of waste food sustainable 3D printing. This research paper investigated new composite based on spent coffee grounds. In addition, PLA SCG at various contents (0, 3, 5, 10, 15 wt%) were dried premixed, then processed into PLA/SCG pellets using twin-screw extrusion. These successfully converted filaments subsequently used The effect grounds composites was via physical mechanical analysis printed samples. Regarding density measurements, results revealed that adding up 5 wt% increased while further additions led decrease which due printing parameters such extrusion temperature nozzle diameter. Considering properties, Young’s modulus once content reached 3 decreased. other hand, there no enhancement tensile strength elongation break corroborating with measurements. mainly contributed changes properties caused parameters. study demonstrates can be filler environmentally friendly printing, maximum wt%. approach not only promotes reuse but also reduces cost traditional filaments.
