Abstract The application of recycled aggregate is crucial for waste concrete recycling, while the loading rate significantly influences fracture behavior concrete. Herein, we investigate effect on flexural and behaviors concrete, along with associated acoustic emission characteristics. Results show that strength energy absorption capacity maximum increase by 15.18% 38.39%, respectively, as rises. As increases from 0.05 to 1 mm/min, peak frequency primarily clustered in 0 ~ 75 kHz 225 tends be dense, b value decreases 19.28%, 23.30%, 30.17%, respectively. Additionally, proportion shear failure also decreases, which relates high release rate. Further, multifractal spectrum α − f ( ) resembles a quadratic distribution, both intensity ∆ width ∆α showing downward trend
