The growth of global trade has fueled a booming shipping industry, but high pollutant emissions from low-speed marine diesel engines have become concern. In this study, it is hypothesized that the combustion efficiency biodiesel B10 in two-stroke can be improved and reduced by optimizing exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) rate injection time. This study systematically analyzed effects EGR (5%, 10%, 20%) time (0 °CA to 6 delay) on emission characteristics using numerical simulation combined with experimental validation. results showed in-cylinder temperature NOx decreased significantly increase rate, soot increased. Specifically, 35.13%, 59.95%, 85.21% at rates 5%, 15%, respectively, while increased 12.25%, 26.75%, 58.18%, respectively. Delaying decreases pressure peaks, decreasing increasing emissions. 2 4 16.01% 25.44%, 4.98% 11.64%, By combining validation, provides theoretical support for optimization engine when biodiesel, great significance green development industry.
