The
proton
exchange
membrane
fuel
cell
(PEMFC)
is
the
most
widely
used
cell,
but
it
also
has
some
limitations.
One
of
research

controlling
oxygen
content
in
PEMFCs.
A
moderate
excess
boosts
electrochemical
reaction
efficiency,

an
appropriate
ensures
system
stability.
In
this
paper,
a
fourth-order
nonlinear
mathematical
model
PEMFC
stack
air
supply
established
to
solve
problem
optimal
ratio
(OER)
control
under
dynamic
load
conditions.
Based
on
model,
nonsingular
terminal
sliding
mode
controller
(NTSMC)
based
observer
(SMO)
proposed.
NTSM
exhibits
superior
robustness
and
performance
compared
other
structures.
Meanwhile,
SMO
accurately
predicts
states,
facilitating
precise
actions.
Additionally,
dual
surfaces
enhance
stability
against
parameter
uncertainties
external
disturbances.

results
demonstrate
that
proposed
outperforms
traditional

significantly

study
presents
a
comprehensive
technical,
environmental,
and
economic
analysis
of
thermal
power
plant
utilizing
solid
oxide
fuel
cells
(SOFC)
to
meet
urban
demands
for
electrical
