The application of information technologies in the optimization ventilation contributes significantly to improvement all aspects mine operations. Abstract A large amount of coal dust is produced in mine excavation, which has a serious impact on the working environment and health underground workers. To address this problem, spatial temporal evolution process excavation tunnel analyzed via numerical simulation, an ultrafine water mist partition multistage suppression system developed. The results show that original ventilation mode, air velocity within 5 m from workface varies greatly, up to 17 m/s. When airflow impacts workface, it shifts return side gradually stabilizes below 2 Driven by airflow, gathers around tunneling machine diffuses rear tunnel, speed increases first then decreases, whole filled 40 s. Within 10 s, particles cover at high speed, capture settle particles, prevent further spread dust. After application I030409 Qipanjing Coal Mine, average reduction efficiency for total respirable reached 91.74% 93.4%, respectively. Therefore, successfully achieves partitioning multilevel reduction.
