Grape Pomace for Feed Enrichment to Improve the Quality of Animal-Based Foods

In
this
review,
the
potential
role
of
grape
pomace
(GP)
as
a
tool
for
improving
feed
has
been
critically
summarized,
considering
findings

five
years
(2020-2024).

nutrition

on

foods
(meat,
milk
dairy
products,
eggs,
fish)

This
study
investigates
the
synthesis
and
characterization
of
zein
nanoparticles
(ZNp)
loaded
with
grape
pomace
extract
(GPE)
from
Vitis
vinifera
L.
for
applications
in
controlled
release
antioxidant
delivery.
Grape
pomace,
a
byproduct
winemaking
industry,
is
rich
bioactive
compounds,
including
phenols
flavonoids,
which
possess
properties.
To
overcome
limitations
these

as
photosensitivity

degradation,

were
incorporated
into
using
antisolvent
technique.
The
physicochemical
properties
ZNp-GPE
system
thoroughly
