Phytogenics are bioactive plant components that intensively researched for their beneficial effects on poultry performance and health. Ongoing nutrigenomic studies provide mechanistic evidence phytogenic benefits at the cellular molecular level. Critical biomarkers gut function health have been shown to be responsive stressor challenges as well administration. In particular, it has phytogenics induce opposite detrimental ones induced by challenges, thereby providing opportunities alleviate negative of stressors production Therefore, credible promotion via administration results in better feed utilization, higher production, healthier products, welfare, less environmental impact sustainability respecting circular economy green deal initiatives. Furthermore, valuable parts overall disease prevention strategies align with One Health initiative healthy humans, animals a planet.

Extensive mechanistic evidence to support the beneficial function of dietary phytobiotic applications for broiler performance, gut and health is highly warranted. In particular, isoquinoline alkaloids (IQ) underlying mechanisms related critical homeostasis components such as cytoprotection barrier are scarce, especially young broilers at starter growth stage (d1-10). The aim this study was investigate effect a standardized blend IQs on relative gene expression biomarkers relevant antioxidant response along intestine end phase. For purpose, 182 one-day-old Ross 308 were allocated in 2 treatments with 7 replicates 13 each: control diet-no other additions (NC), diet containing 200 mg/kg (M) period (1-10d). results revealed that significantly upregulated (P < 0.05) genes all intestinal segments. Moreover, enhanced primarily duodenal level. conclusion, beneficially affected pathway capacity broilers.
