Candida albicans : (C. alb icans ) is a prevalent opportunistic pathogen that can cause severe mucosal and systemic fungal infections, leading to high morbidity mortality rates. Traditional chemical drug treatments for C. infection have limitations, including the potential development of resistance. Essential oils, which are secondary metabolites extracted from plants, gained significant attention due their antibacterial activity intestinal regulatory effects. It makes them an ideal focus eco-friendly antifungal research. This review was aimed comprehensively evaluate research progress, mechanisms, clinical application prospects essential oils in treating infections through We delve into how exert effects against these provide comprehensive analysis related experimental studies trials. Additionally, we offer insights future therapy, aiming new ideas methods safer more effective drugs. Through systematic literature data analysis, hope supporting therapy while also contributing natural medicines. In face increasingly might emerge as potent method our arsenal, aiding protection human animal health.

With rising concerns about antibiotic resistance and its consequences on public health, the identification of safe effective alternatives to antibiotics in poultry industry has become increasingly critical. This study aimed evaluate effects supplementing drinking water with apple vinegar essential oils, compared an growth promoter, performance, serum lipid profile, antioxidant status, intestinal morphology, gastrointestinal microflora population broiler chickens. A total 240 one-day-old male chickens were randomly assigned four treatments, each consisting six replicate pens ten birds per pen. The received following experimental treatments: normal without additives (control) supplemented (0.25 ml/L), (1 oils blend (0.5 ml/L). results showed that adding or improved body weight gain feed conversion ratio throughout entire rearing period (P < 0.05). levels cholesterol low-density lipoprotein broilers lower than those control groups treatment significantly increased activity glutathione peroxidase superoxide dismutase other treatments Furthermore, villus height crypt depth jejunum oil also exhibited a Enterobacteriaceae higher count lactic acid bacteria ceca In summary, addition beneficial production performance can serve as alternative promoters.

Enteric microbiota plays a crucial role in the health and productivity of poultry, including influences on nutrient absorption, immune function, pathogen resistance. In this study, we conducted genome-wide association study (GWAS) to identify host genetic variants associated with selected bacterial genera found chickens. We used high-density 600K SNP Affymetrix DNA arrays for genotyping, alongside 16S rRNA gene sequencing profile caecal from same individual A commercial broiler line (Cobb400, n = 300) an indigenous (Kadaknath, chicken breed India were investigated, allowing comprehensive cross-ecotype analysis. Our analysis identified several host-genetic markers candidate genes presence abundance specific known pathogenic or commensal roles, Enterotypes. Whole-genome data then further investigate regions around significantly array. Of note, nearby coding classical complement activation component C1q, ephrin receptors, other immunity inflammatory responses as well products vitamin co-factor metabolism. The results underscore impact that genetics has regulation gut highlights potential pathways through which variation host-bacterial crosstalk potentially modulates microbial community structure. These findings contribute growing understanding basis host-microbiota interactions offer new avenues improving poultry selective breeding strategies targeting microbiome.

Fatty acid contributes notably to meat nutrition value. A previous study investigated how complex plant extracts (CPE) can improve the fatty composition of ruminants, but molecular mechanism remains unknown. This aimed examine effect dietary CPE supplementation on sheep growth performance and in back fat (BF), combining lipidomics transcriptomics analyses explain underlying mechanisms. Thirty-six female sheep, weighing 29.92 ± 2.52 kg a similar age (~4 months old), were randomly assigned into two groups: one received basal diet (CTRL group), other same supplemented with 80 mg/kg (CPE group) for 75 days. The results revealed that values carcass content (GR) group significantly increased (p = 0.008), was changed. Lipidomic analysis indicated modulated lipid metabolism by regulating contents molecules such as phosphatidylcholine (PC), acyls (FAs), cardiolipin (CL), triglyceride (TAG). After addition CPE, BF regulated mainly glycerophospholipid metabolism, TNF signaling pathway, cytokine–cytokine receptor interaction pathway. These changes acids affected added corresponding changes, which may provide new insights level applying composition.

Abstract Because number of matured muscle fibers in poultry does not increase after birth, the meat yield is mainly determined during embryogenesis. We previously indicated breast grew rapidly from 18th day hatching (E18) to E27, and almost stopped E27 E34 Jiaji ducks, while mechanism unclear. This study utilized RNA-seq explore related genes development their relationship with small molecule metabolites at E18, ducks. Several thousand differentially expressed (DEGs) were detected among E34. DEGs expression profiles included 8 trend maps, which 1 was opposite 6 consistent Through joint analysis between differential (DEMs), protein digestion absorption pathway stood out. The decrease COL8A2 gene will lead arginine content, inhibit embryonic duck. Similarly, DEMs GAMT cause proline then promote duck period. These results be helpful for further understanding yields
