In laying hens, maintaining optimal bone health and development from the early stages is crucial, as it directly affects their egg-laying efficiency, overall welfare productivity. Studies have shown that grape polyphenols Vitis vinifera enhance in both humans animals. Still, mechanisms behind this effect remain unclear, given diversity of varying action. The objective study was to investigate a standardized dry extract (SDGE) on quality metabolome future hens reared commercial conditions. Therefore, 36300 day-old pullets were randomly divided into two barns same farm site. Both received diet, with addition 30 mg/kg SDGE (Nor-Grape®, Nor-Feed, France) day 1 until week 17 supplemented group (SDGE). At end supplementation period, several parameters analyzed 50 individuals per group. Additionally, non-targeted metabolomics plasma bones performed uncover impact pullet's metabolome. Results demonstrated keel deformity tended improve following (P = 0.10). Heat stress (HS) negatively impacts poultry production by reducing growth performance and compromising physiological health. Nutritional strategies, particularly amino acid supplementation, are explored to mitigate these adverse effects. This study evaluates the impact of high dietary threonine supplementation on performance, health biomarkers, oxidative status, meat quality, intestinal histology in cyclic HS broilers. A total 288 1-day-old Hubbard broilers were randomly allocated six treatment groups: Thermoneutral, control, supplemented with 125% (HS-125), 150% (HS-150), 175% (HS-175), 200% (HS-200) NRC-recommended threonine. Birds groups exposed (35°C, 75% relative humidity) from day 22 42. Growth was recorded weekly, while parameters, markers, jejunal analyzed post-exsanguination. significantly reduced body weight gain feed intake, did not improve parameters. However, liver weight, serum albumin, cholesterol levels improved at higher doses (175%-200%). Threonine also corticosterone malondialdehyde levels, suggesting enhanced resilience. Superoxide dismutase activity, an indicator defense, threonine-supplemented groups. In histology, acidic goblet cells increased, intraepithelial lymphocyte infiltration decreased birds 175%-200% threonine, indicating gut integrity. Meat quality attributes, including crude protein stability, showed minor but inconsistent variations across treatments. Although (175%-200%) resilience enhancing health, selected biomarkers broilers, however, it failed enhance performance. These findings suggest that supports adaptations under HS, its use as a promoter conditions may be economically viable. Further studies warranted optimize balance for productivity.

Heat stress is a critical challenge in the poultry industry. It arises when birds are exposed to elevated ambient temperatures beyond their thermoneutral zone, often exacerbated by high humidity and inadequate ventilation. This condition disrupts birds' ability maintain thermal homeostasis, leading physiological behavioral changes such as increased panting, reduced feed intake, water consumption. These responses aim dissipate heat but result energy imbalances, oxidative stress, impaired immune function. Green tea polyphenols (GTPs) mitigate modulating pathways, primarily scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) enhancing antioxidant defense mechanisms. pathways play pivotal role neutralizing ROS generated during inflammation, exposure electrophilic compounds. action helps restore cellular balance enhances overall mechanisms converting harmful free radicals into less molecules, oxygen. Nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 2 (Nrf2) plays significant character activation of enzymatic antioxidants network. translocates nucleus upon activation, binds response elements (AREs) promoter regions target genes, upregulates expression key enzymes. Therefore, regulation Nrf2 considered molecular marker mitigating effects its detoxification enzymes, protecting against damage inflammation induced temperatures. exploratory review summarizes anti-oxidative GTPs poultry. highlights cytoprotective basis epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), particularly Nrf2-mediated which enhance systems protect damage.
