This study aims to investigate the effects of theaflavins on production performance and egg quality in laying hens fed oxidized corn gluten meal while evaluating their antioxidant anti-apoptotic granulosa cells (GCs) from chicken follicles. In total, 600 Lohmann commercial hens, aged 64 weeks, were randomly assigned four treatment groups: a control group, theaflavin-supplemented an combination group. After 8 weeks feeding, performance, quality, status, along with GC apoptosis capacity eggs, measured. The results demonstrated that significantly reduced capacity, increasing apoptosis. Theaflavin enhanced during 5–8, superoxide dismutase activity liver, serum, ovary, alongside white reducing power yolk threonine content (p < 0.05). Additionally, theaflavin decreased feed conversion ratios 5–8 1–8, lowered malondialdehyde 0.05), inhibited conclusion, protein supplementation partially alleviated its adverse effects.
