Armed conflicts violate young people’s rights by exposing them to violence and trauma, disrupting their sense of safety. This study examines how Russia’s war against Ukraine affects Ukrainian adolescents’ lives. The utilizes data from Let’s Chat, a free, low-threshold support service for Ukrainian-speaking children youths. We analyzed 185 chat conversations between workers adolescents using data-driven thematic analysis. emerged roughly every fourth conversation, affecting discussions on forced relocation, school disruptions, social relationships. Although youths rarely initiate war-related conversations, its effects are evident. highlights the complex impact youth development, adding other stressors in War often emerges as an added burden, complicating already delicate development. Digital channels like Chat can help cope with these challenges plan futures culturally sensitive manner across borders, providing crucial difficult times.
