Introdução

Objetivo.
Este
artigo
apresenta
uma
revisão
da
literatura
dos
últimos
50
anos
área
de
Paleobotânica
molecular,
com
o
objetivo
investigar
a
frequência
ocorrência
biomateriais
remanescentes
no
registro
fóssil
vegetais
ou
seus
subprodutos
tempo
profundo.
Metodologia
Resultados.
Os
resultados
identificaram
53
artigos
que
descrevem
recuperação
um
amplo
espectro
biomoléculas,
agrupadas
em
três
classes
distintas:
biomacromoléculas
lábeis,
estáveis
biomarcadores.
Em
geral,
presença
composição
bioquímica
original
é
considerada
geológica,
geográfica
taxonomicamente
distribuída,
nas
rochas
fanerozoicas,
os
grupos
taxonômicos
Gimnospermae
Angiospermae
apresentando
maior
quantidade
relatos.
Conclusão.
O
corpus
pesquisa
revela
ainda
as
técnicas
predominantes
nos
estudos
são
microscópicas
(MEV,
TEM)
análise
química,
incluindo
cromatográficas
espectroscópicas
(GC-MS,
Py-GC/MS,
FTIR),
sugerindo
que,
à
medida
tecnologia
avança,
descobertas
biomoléculas
associadas
fósseis
tenderão
ser
mais
frequentes.
