Background: To find support for risk-modifying genes in breast cancer, a haplotype GWAS sporadic cancer cases was undertaken. The results were compared with the from previous analyses familial and all same Swedish cohort. Methods: In total, 2550 women invasive 5021 healthy controls included sliding-window using PLINK 1.07. Results: analysis of confirmed loci on chromosomes 10q26.13, 11q13.3, 16q12.1 suggested one novel locus chromosome 12p11.21 (OR = 1.42 p 4.55 × 10−8). A comparison between these Conclusions: Haplotype supported known risk another locus. identified to act as modifiers cancer. other higher odds ratios than single-variant analysis. Further studies are needed out how best include findings prevention.

Background/Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate skin-sparing mastectomy with implant reconstruction complication rates in patients operated on due high penetrant gene profile. All went and risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy. The effect of radiotherapy chemotherapy wound healing is a frequently discussed topic the literature. However, studies these undergoing implant-based are rare. In our clinic, two surgeries performed under same anesthesia it aimed investigate this situation complications rare patient group. retrospective study, we report clinical experience regarding factors among Methods: Between June 2022 2024, 61 were grouped according demographic data. Post-operative defined as any following: major which active bleeding or dehiscence; minor hematoma, seroma, surgical-site infection, <20% skin nipple necrosis, reoperation dehiscence other complication. Patients compared terms whether they received previous (RT), neoadjuvant (CT), underwent skin-reducing mammoplasty. Results: receiving chemotherapy, preoperative RT, complications. While CT RT only increased risk found that had no significant rates. Conclusions: Skin-sparing salphingo-oophorectomy comprehensive operation method Complication control can be achieved by performing single period, using spy immunofluorescence device for vascularization control, all experienced team.
