ABSTRACT Plasma‐treated liquids and their medical application have gained momentum in the fields of plasma science recent years. Most research has been done field cancer treatment. Another new promising special CAP−liquid interaction is hydrogels, which can serve as localized reservoirs for delivery long‐lived reactive oxygen nitrogen species other active ingredients such chemotherapeutic drugs. Identifying hydrogel compositions optimal treatment, reservoir function, from a regulatory point view use medicine, together with chemical identification biologically molecules interdependencies to operation parameters, are fundamental challenges field.

ABSTRACT In a narrow definition, plasma medicine is the application of body‐temperature cold devices for medical purposes. If considering more general in medicine, independent operating temperature, electrosurgical argon have been successfully applied decades cutting and coagulating tissue. Accordingly, such received regulatory approval as certified devices. this work, we assessed suitability an device with novel set parameters allowing operation at lower temperatures. We studied device's ability to generate reactive species measured their penetration into hydrogels human HT29 colon cancer cell toxicity motivate future studies mode gastrointestinal oncology.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) ranks among the most prevalent chronic metabolic diseases, characterized primarily by a persistent elevation in blood glucose levels. This condition typically stems from either insufficient insulin secretion or functional defect itself. Clinically, diabetes is classified into type 1 (T1DM) and 2 (T2DM), with T2DM comprising nearly 90% of all diagnosed cases. Notably, global incidence has surged dramatically over recent decades. The adenylate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway crucial regulating cellular energy metabolism, marking it as significant therapeutic target for related complications. Natural products, their diverse origins, multifaceted bioactivities, relative safety, hold considerable promise modulating AMPK pathway. review article explores advances research on natural products that pathway, aiming to inform development innovative antidiabetic therapies.

The pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes (T1D) involves a complex interplay genetic predisposition, immune processes, and environmental factors, leading to the selective destruction pancreatic beta-cells by system. Emerging evidence suggests that intrinsic beta-cell including oxidative stress post-translational modifications (PTM) antigens, may also contribute their immunogenicity, shedding new light on multifaceted T1D. Over past 30 years, neoepitopes generated PTMs have been hypothesized play role in T1D pathogenesis, but involvement has only systematically investigated recent years. In this review, we explored between PTMs, neoepitopes, T1D, highlighting as pivotal factor system dysfunction, vulnerability, disease onset.
