His research investigates the interplay among investment in Information and Communication Technology [ICT], digital financial inclusion, environmental tax policies, their impact on progression of sustainable energy development within Middle East North Africa [MENA] region. Recognizing distinctive hurdles impeding advancement, effective policy formulation implementation MENA necessitate a comprehensive understanding these variables. Employing Dynamic Common Correlated Effects [DCE] model alongside an instrumental variable-adjusted DCE approach, this study explores relationship between ICT investment, tax, development. The facilitates analysis dynamic effects potential correlations, while addresses issues pertaining to endogeneity. results indicate that both promotion inclusion significantly positively Additionally, underscores importance fostering highlighting critical role interventions. Based findings, governmental prioritization initiatives for service integration is recommended bolster growth MENA. Furthermore, adoption efficient measures essential incentivize practices mitigate degradation. These recommendations aim create conducive environment region, contributing economic prosperity conservation.

This study investigates the effect of using renewable energy resources on sustainable development in Saudi Arabia. The research model was tested Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), with data collected from 180 respondents expertise and sustainability, quantitative design. results suggest that hydropower wind significantly contribute to economic, environmental, social dimensions. Despite this, scalability is restricted by Arabia’s geographical resource limitations. On other hand, has become a realistic alternative, especially along Red Sea coast, where there are consistent speeds. Kingdom’s high levels solar insolation, highlighted more for its potential than it currently measurable impact. Interestingly, contributions three sources were not statistically different each other, suggesting need interpret findings care recognize specific sustainability tradeoffs sources. Hydropower applicable within context, but energies scalable contextually relevant solutions. Therefore, this emphasize strategic value balanced diversified strategy help Arabia achieve Vision 2030 goals foster development.

Abstract The integration of demand response programs (DRPs) into the energy management (EM) system microgrids (MGs) helps in improving load characteristics by allowing consumers to interoperate for achieving techno-economic advantages. In this paper, an improved algorithm is called LINFO proposed modifying search ability original weIghted meaN oF vectOrs (INFO) as well avoiding its weaknesses like trapping a local optima. algorithm's efficiency confirmed comparing results with those obtained INFO and other optimization techniques using different standard benchmark test functions. Moreover, version are applied solving EM problem aim optimizing operation cost MGs presence DRPs. They used solve day-ahead optimal renewable resources, generation from conventional diesel engines (DEs); taking account participation customers DRP minimizing MG operating cost, which includes DEs fuel power transactions main grid. To demonstrate efficacy LINFO, simulation compared well-known newly developed techniques.

The escalating levels of CO 2 emissions from the transportation sector have been observed to exert deleterious effects on human well‐being and environmental sustainability. To mitigate these emissions, it is imperative consider potential contributions policies financial innovation. Thus, this study examines innovation policy (environmental tax–environmental technology) transport‐related emission (TCO E) for BICS (i.e., Brazil, India, China South Africa), which are characterized by substantial industrialization, rising TCO E growing concerns. analysis complemented including control variables, notably economic growth transition cleaner energy, offer a nuanced holistic perspective dynamics governing critical subject matter. research adopts novel econometric approach cross‐sectionally augmented auto‐regressive distributed lags benchmark estimation fully modified ordinary least squares–dynamic squares robustness 2000/Q1‐2018/Q4. findings revealed that bolster decrease quality in region. The study investigates the effect of carbon tax adoption on foreign direct investment in Africa. We set up Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) model and estimate it with differenced GMM techniques. data span from 1995 to 2019 covers 43 Sub-Saharan African countries. Data is sourced World Bank's Development Indicators. findings show that unmitigated FDI repressive. However, if revenue recycled into economy, will have a significant positive FDI. The literature on foreign aid and tax efforts largely overlooks the specific role of environmental taxation. To fill this gap, we examine effects renewable energy development assistance (EDA) governance quality climate change effort, air pollution aggregate effort in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Utilizing panel data from 15 SSA countries over 20 years (2000–2019), sample is divided into two groups based income levels: seven low-income (LIC) eight middle-income (MIC). instrumental variable generalized method moments (IV-GMM) regression technique employed to estimate parameters baseline model specifications. study also uses Smoothed Instrumental Variable Quantile Regression (SIVQR) test robustness model. Among countries, findings suggest that inflows reduce but increase efforts. However, among negatively impacts all three categories Governance tends enhance both countries. implications these results are discussed.
