With the ongoing expansion of global economic activities, environmental degradation has emerged as a progressively severe challenge. The Sustainable Development Goals are significantly impacted by this issue, making it essential to establish symbiotic relationship between development and protection. In context, an investigation into efforts OECD promote ecological protection assumes critical role, given its prominent position leading cooperation organization. Therefore, we examine efficiency, financial development, renewable energy, industrialization, footprint in 36 countries from 1995 2018. An empirical analysis employing fully modified Ordinary Least Square technique reveals inverted U-shaped curve efficiency footprint, supporting Kuznets (EKC) hypothesis countries. Moreover, research that industrialization exacerbate damage, while advancement energy plays pivotal role controlling fostering conservation. Furthermore, introducing interaction terms, find weaken positive effect on reinforces it. Finally, findings Dumitrescu-Hurlin panel causality show causal all three variables, namely consumption, is bidirectional. contrast, degree unidirectional. These provide practical policy recommendations for sustainable offers valuable insights lessons can inform formulation relevant policies other regions. Overall, study not only innovatively enriches theoretical content EKC perspective but also important guidance significance.

Abstract This study investigates the influence of democracy, autocracy, and globalization on carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions in 69 developing countries from 1990 to 2018. We used unit root approaches scrutinize level stationarity recognize that all concern variables were unified at first difference. Pedroni Kao cointegration methodologies employed for detection long‐run cointegration, conclusions discovered presence relationships among variables. Furthermore, this applied a fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) approach estimate elasticity/coefficients. The outcomes showed democracy renewable energy significantly overcome pressure environment. However, financial development increase environmental damage. Besides, findings an interaction term between reduce pollution level, dampening effect autocracy does similar Inverted U‐shaped Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis was verified across world. Additionally, Feedback is CO emissions. growth revealed democracy. Finally, also suggests some valuable policy suggestions governments/policymakers general/specific regarding world endorsing their sustainability.

With the increase in world population, demography of humans is estimated to be exceeded and it has become a major challenge provide an adequate amount food, feed, agricultural products majorly developing countries. The use chemical fertilizers causes plant grow efficiently rapidly meet food demand. drawbacks using higher quantity or synthetic are environmental pollution, persistent changes soil ecology, physiochemical composition, decreasing productivity cause several health hazards. Climatic factors responsible for enhancing abiotic stress on crops, resulting reduced productivity. There various types biotic like salinity, drought, wind, improper temperature, heavy metals, waterlogging, different weeds phytopathogens bacteria, viruses, fungi, nematodes which attack plants, reducing crop quality. shift toward biofertilizers due all these facts, nutrition through natural processes zinc, potassium phosphorus solubilization, nitrogen fixation, production hormones, siderophore, hydrolytic enzymes protect from pathogens conditions. They that sufficient healthy development fulfill demand increasing population worldwide, eco-friendly economically convenient. This review will focus their mechanisms action, role biotic/abiotic tolerance.

The Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Turkey (MINT) countries have practiced significant levels of economic growth over the years. However, these not managed to protect their environmental quality in tandem. Thus, aggravation indicators traversing radiates a shadow uncertainty on achievement sustainability. In this regard, green investment technological innovations are commonly considered as an effective aspect geared minimize CO 2 emissions, increase energy efficiency involve cleaner production. study investigates effect investment, growth, innovation, non-renewable use, globalization carbon dioxide (CO ) emissions MINT from 2000 2020. After checking stationary process, applied fully modified ordinary least square dynamic methods estimate long-run elasticity mentioned regressors emissions. outcomes show that significantly degradation. contrast, process reduce it long run. Moreover, interaction overcomes pressure environment. Similarly, moderation innovation reduces emission level region. U-shaped Kuznets curve hypothesis was observed between across countries. Furthermore, findings Dumitrescu Hurlin’s panel causal test disclose bidirectional causality exists globalization, innovations, energy, This also recommends some valuable policy suggestions governments general policymakers specifically which aimed endorse sustainability
