Abstract Environmental sustainability and energy transition, especially the renewable have become critical concerns of nations throughout world in recent decades. The sustainable eco‐friendly technologies led to more methodologies, substantial stewardship our natural resources, conversion sources, all which been demonstrated benefit environment significantly. However, prior studies overlooked ecological transition effects green technology innovation. Therefore, this study endeavored investigate role innovation (lnGRN) financial globalization (lnFIG) on (lnEFT) (lnENT) United Kingdom using quarterly data for period from 1995 2020. applied time‐varying (bootstrapping) rolling window technique, can retrieve casual associations among variables at different periods sub‐samples. Besides this, method is advantageous addressing non‐consistency parameters eliminating pre‐test distortion. novel Bootstrap Rolling‐Window full‐sample causality technique results demonstrate that lnGRN lnFIG unidirectional toward lnEFT lnENT. Furthermore, bootstrap rolling‐window subsamples final stage indicate mitigate lnEFT, whereas lnGDP enhance transition. On other hand, lnETX contribute environmental deterioration, while hinders Several important policy implications are derived encourage globalization, technologies, resources consumption, taxes.

Organic solar cells (OSCs) have attracted a great deal of attention in the field clean energy due to their advantages transparency, flexibility, low cost and light weight. Introducing them market enables seamless integration into buildings windows, while also supporting wearable, portable electronics internet-of-things (IoT) devices. With development photovoltaic materials optimization fabrication technology, power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) OSCs rapidly improved now exceed 20%. However, there is significant lack focus on material stability device lifetime, causing severe hindrance commercial applications. In this review, we carefully review important strategies employed improve over past three years from perspectives design engineering. Furthermore, analyze discuss current progress terms air, light, thermal mechanical stability. Finally, propose future research directions overcome challenges achieving highly stable OSCs. We expect that will contribute solving problem OSCs, eventually paving way for applications near future.

Since the commencement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Emerging Seven economies have faced many problems in achieving objectives SDGs, while environmental degradation is one foremost issues for them. In this study, researchers reconsidered technological policies these economies. For purpose, we addressed clean and affordable energy, sustained economic growth, institutional quality to address issue degradation. doing so, investigated influence renewable energy consumption, quality, innovations growth on carbon emissions using feasible generalized least square (FGLS), panel quantile regression (PQR), variance decomposition analysis from 1996 2018. The empirical results FGLS depict that a 1% rise innovations, reduces by 0.144%, 0.189%, 0.257%, respectively. contrast, population increases 0.961% 1.510%, A similar outcome echoed PQR; however, their impact differs across lower, medium, higher quantiles. Particularly, technology consumption highest at emission quantiles, medium These outcomes reinforce recommendation an SDG-oriented policy framework, including transition (SDG-7), climate action (SDG-13), (SDG-9), government institutions (SDG-16), (SDG-8).
