Abstract Climate change is often discussed and serves as an essential topic among policymakers researchers. This study aims to examine the impact of macroeconomic policy “environmental stringency” (EPS) on “ecological footprint” (EF) “load capacity factor” (LCF) for BRICS‐T (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Turkey) countries using annual data from 1990 2022. It also explores other environmental sustainability factors, such economic growth disintegrated energy. investigation utilizes second‐generation approaches Westerlund cointegration, “method moments quantile regression” (MMQR), panel causality test. Furthermore, a robustness check done long‐run estimators, dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS), fully modified (FMOLS), fixed effect (FE‐OLS). Overall, findings method regression (MMQR) test concerning EF suggest that fiscal contribute quality. Meanwhile, monetary policy, renewable energy consumption, stringency mitigate pollution level in all quantiles. Moreover, results LCF model indicate stringency, consumption improve condition. However, has damaged each quantile. In addition, confirm validity inverted U‐shaped Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis LCC hypothesis. The estimators support outcomes MMQR method. empirical DH heterogeneous presence bidirectional unidirectional between parameters, underscoring interventions government expenditure, money supply, EPS significantly quality vice versa. Thus, recommends allocating more funds eco‐friendly technology, initiating green lending program, enforcing stringent laws regulations attain Sustainable Development Goals.

Financial structure is the primary director of economic activity in a capitalist society, it also has an important societal role encouraging investments that are beneficial to natural and human ecosystems. To accomplish this objective, study addresses unattended symmetric linkages between financial structure, energy depletion, environmental degradation using multiple ecological footprints ‘’ (built-up land, carbon cropland, fishing grounds, forest products, grazing land)’’ as indicator over period 1985 2018 for Pakistan. By these six indicators separate regressands, research quantifies impact depletion by applying newly developed Augmented Autoregressive Distributed Lag (AARDL) approach. The outcome reveals decreases footprints, similarly, footprints. Opposite it, trade openness increases while urban population Given results, comprehensive development policies directed achieve sustainable goals.

Sustainable energy mitigates climate change by reducing reliance on coal and oil for power generation, curbing global warming. It addresses environmental concerns yields economic benefits—reduced fossil fuel dependence, financial inclusion, productive employment, development. This research examines the impact of regional integration sustainability in 39 high-income European Central Asian (ECA) nations from 2017 to 2021. Specifically, study analyzes influence green demand, technological transfers, trade openness carbon emissions. The employed various estimators, namely, a two-step Generalized Method Moments (GMM) estimation, quantile regression, cointegration panel approach. These estimators were utilized capture different aspects dynamics variables. finds that programs agreements effectively reduce emissions, while advances industrial output tend raise them. Granger causality analyses reveal emissions-led development, technical innovation, are interconnected factors, deployment renewable contributes inter-temporal analysis suggests factors will likely emissions following decade. findings support neoclassical growth theory, new institutional economics, ecological modernization theory. Developing sources region can minimize price fluctuations, strengthen security, align with neutrality agenda. emphasizes need sustainable strategies cooperation foster greener more future.
